At the Administrative Office of the US Courts our team assisted in the migration of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 On-premise to Microsoft 365 in SharePoint Online.
Implementing New Solutions
The scope of the contract included Operations and Maintenance of all Microsoft SharePoint environments, including training, consultation, security, permission control, Site Collection Administration, modernization, migration and Power Platform implementation of legacy
applications.
Capitol Presence assisted in requirement capturing and documentation, site mapping and architecture or current as-is and to-be processes, training and implementation, and integration of multiple data platforms.
Development with Modern Tools
Capitol Presence was able to identify applications that were built within legacy environments and modernized them through them through the use of customizable Microsoft tools.
A combination of Power Automate workflows, Power Apps, and Power Bi dasboards were used to directly integrate data from hundreds of sources with custom APIs, some pre-built and available through Power Platform, and act on insights with the click of a button.
With Microsoft Forms, you can create surveys, quizzes, and polls, invite others to respond to it, see realtime results as they're submitted, use built-in analytics to evaluate responses, and export results to Excel for additional analysis or grading.
Modern, Simple, and Efficient Solutions.
The SharePoint designer assisted in the migration from the 2013 environment and transitioned the AO into Microsoft 365 through the AvePoint tool. Upon transition, multiple RPA applications built within the Power Platform were developed and designed and implemented into Microsoft Teams environments to allow users to reserve their hoteling location, update their leave calendars, submit trouble and tier 2 support tickets, as well as provide feedback to support team members regarding the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environments.
Optimized Results.
The Capitol Presence Team was successfully able to update legacy systems and design of the US Courts and streamline time consuming processes. Through working groups and architecture of new to-be processes, the transition process was able to move seamlessly.
